These flights will also be a part of the Ace-Pigeon and the Knock-Out Competition. Its all flights longer than 80 km.
On every HOT-SPOT Flights there is € 270 to the winner of this flight - that means that every pigeon participating on this flight can win this prize.
Ace-Pigeon Competition (best aggregated of the 5 HOT-SPOT flights + the final - meaning shortest accumulated time)

There will also be prizes for the 3 best who are still back in the knock-out competition of the knock-out match.
An example on how the "Knock-Out" competition works every year:
1st round with 665 youngsters - 330 youngsters qualifies for the next round
2nd round with 330 youngsters - 165 youngsters qualifies for the next round
3rd round with 165 youngsters - 80 youngsters qualifies for the next round
4th round with 80 youngsters - 40 youngsters qualifies for the next round
5th round with 40 youngsters - 10 youngsters qualifies for the final (the 10 best qualitfies for the final).
After a conversation with the importer of the TIPES electronics, Bjarne Strazsek, we can inform you, that the terminal will run with accuracy by the entrance of the youngsters. The first registered pigeon will always be the first pigeon on the display. Also when the pigeons are registered at the same time. That is, when 10 young birds arrive the same time, the first registered pigeon will always be before number 2 etc.
Therefore will there only be one winner and only one number two etc.
Prizes will be delivered on the day of the final. The rest will be wired to the account of the participants.
Disaster-flight
We do not hope that it will happen, but to avoid any discuss on ………
But if this does happen and not all the pigeons come home:
The prizes which do not get distributed, will go over to the next year.
If we can not race because of sickness or like 2002 because of Newcastle-disease or something alike, the prize money will go over to the next year. If we can not race every person. If we can not race, every person which has pigeons in the loft the day of the finale will have the possibility to send another pigeon free of charge the following year.
